Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner

About Me
I’m Eliza, a Cognitive Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner, and EMDR Therapist with over 15 years’ experience supporting children, young people, adults, and families. My journey into therapy began with my own experiences of anxiety and school avoidance, and later supporting my daughter through challenges in secondary education, experiences that inspire my work every day.
I work within my own private clinic, education, and workplaces, providing:
-
Individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults
-
Group therapy and resilience programmes
-
Workplace consultancy
-
Staff training and CPD for schools, services, and organisations
-
Mindfulness and breath-work sessions
My approach blends Cognitive Hypnotherapy, EMDR, Somatic therapies, Creative play, and Coaching. I work on the principle that all behaviour is communication. Without judgement or labels, I help individuals, groups, and organisations understand what’s happening beneath the surface and develop practical tools to create lasting change.
Whether in a therapy room, a classroom, or a training session, my mission is the same, to help individuals, families, and teams feel safe, understood, and able to thrive.
I am also the author of When Harry’s Feet Say No, a children’s book inspired by my own experiences and professional work with children and families. Drawing on my journey supporting children through school anxiety and emotional overwhelm, the book uses storytelling and somatic-based strategies to help primary-aged children understand and manage their feelings in a gentle, relatable way.
